2002 FIFA World Cup(TM) Korea Japan - Sightseeing spots around a venue of Shizuoka
Sightseeing Spots around ECOPA

Enjoy old temples, flowers and the taste of tea around Fukuroi city.

There are many attractive sightseeing spots around "Shizuoka Stadium ECOPA" in Fukuroi city. We would especially recommend you to visit "Hattasan Soneiji Temple" as being one of the three greatest temples in this Enshu Area. Try famous "Yakuyoke-dango", which means "sweet rice cakes which can protect you against bad luck". "Kasui Yuri-no-Sono" is in the best season to see beautiful lilies, and various events relating to flowers are held. If you are interested in the taste of tea, visit "Kaori-no-oka Chapia" where you can experience the tea picking and taste "shin-cha", the first tea picked in this year. After the exciting and impressive moment at "Shizuoka Stadium Ecopa", you will be gently surrounded by the peaceful nature and good taste in Fukuroi city.
