Enjoy old temples, flowers and the taste of tea around Fukuroi city.
There are many attractive sightseeing spots around "Shizuoka Stadium
ECOPA" in Fukuroi city. We would especially recommend you to visit "Hattasan
Soneiji Temple" as being one of the three greatest temples in this Enshu
Area. Try famous "Yakuyoke-dango", which means "sweet rice cakes
which can protect you against bad luck". "Kasui Yuri-no-Sono"
is in the best season to see beautiful lilies, and various events relating to
flowers are held. If you are interested in the taste of tea, visit "Kaori-no-oka
Chapia" where you can experience the tea picking and taste "shin-cha",
the first tea picked in this year. After the exciting and impressive moment at "Shizuoka Stadium Ecopa", you will be gently surrounded by the peaceful
nature and good taste in Fukuroi city.

Called as "Hattasan", one of the three traditional temples in Enshu
Area, with the other two temples (Kasuisai and Yusanji). The temple is dedicated
to Shokannon Bosatsu, which is believed as to remove the bad luck and many people
visit here to pray. Established in 725 by Gyoki upon order of the Emperor Shomu,
and supported by Imagawa, Toyotomi and Tokugawa Generals in the 16th - 18th Centuries,
but due to the abolishment of privilege by Meiji Government, twelve priests' residences
were abolished. The bad luck removing "dango" sold inside the temple
is known well. Also known as a good place to see cherry blossoms, with 700 cherry
