Showa-no-Mori Center
A forest museum introducing the natural flora and fauna of Amagi using panels and video, and a museum of modern literature relating to Izu. The literature museum displays the manuscripts, first editions, and photographs of authors deeply connected to Izu: Kawabata Yasunari, Inoue Yasushi, Kajii Motojiro, etc. The house of Inoue Yasushi has been moved here and rebuilt in the garden.
